Victorian Tech Savvy Seniors ProjectCurrently being rolled out by the High Country Library and other libraries in the north east region, the Victorian Government's 'Tech Savvy Seniors' program is a statewide initiative in partnership with Telstra and has produced a range of resources which would assist in mentoring and supporting members keen to develop and also extend their skills in the digital world. Resources for trainers from the Tech Savvy Seniors program and the Tech Savvy self teach videos are avaukabke on the internet or in DVD format from local libraries which have been delivering TSS training.

Broadband for SeniorsBroadband for Seniors, funded by the Australian Government, provides free access to computers, Internet and basic training to help people over 50 build confidence in new technology. There are Broadband for Seniors kiosks attached to community organisations in the north east region. To find out more, check out the Broadband for Seniors Website. Digital ReadyDigital Ready provides online learning tools to help organisations in the Arts, Recreation and Education Services sectors build skills and knowledge to take advantage of information and communications technology and high speed broadband. It contains tailored, sector-specific instructional materials and 'how-to' guides on the use of digital and on-line systems to improve your business and operations. It also contains video case studies and video tutorials. Digital Ready is provided by the Australian Communications Consumer Action Network (ACCAN) - Australia's peak body for consumer representation in communications - as part of the federal Department of Communications' Digital Business Kits program.
